- Develop and implement company-wide asset protection strategies and policies to ensure the safety and security of the store, its merchandise, employees, and customers.
- Monitor and analyze loss prevention data to identify potential risks and develop proactive solutions to prevent losses.
- Manage and train a team of asset protection associates, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with store management and other departments to identify and address potential security threats and implement necessary measures to mitigate risks.
- Maintain a strong understanding of current industry trends and implement best practices to continuously improve asset protection efforts.
- Investigate and document any incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches, and work closely with law enforcement when necessary.
- Ensure that all employees are properly trained on company policies, security procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local law enforcement and other external agencies to enhance overall security efforts.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings related to asset protection, including providing testimony and evidence when necessary.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Retail Loss Prevention Or Asset Protection.
Strong Knowledge Of Current Security And Safety Practices, As Well As Retail Laws And Regulations.
Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Train And Supervise A Team.
Familiarity With Surveillance And Inventory Control Systems, And The Ability To Analyze Data To Identify Potential Risk Areas.
