Asset Protection Manager

The Asset Protection Manager at JCPenney is a key part of our store's leadership team. The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented professional with a passion for protecting our store's assets and delivering the best customer experience. We're looking for an individual with a minimum of 3 years of retail loss prevention management experience, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a comprehensive understanding of asset protection policies and procedures. The Asset Protection Manager should also be highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritize, and have an understanding of loss prevention technologies, including CCTV systems and access control. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement effective asset protection strategies to minimize losses.
2. Develop and enforce asset protection policies and procedures.
3. Monitor CCTV systems and access control systems to detect potential losses.
4. Investigate and respond to incidents of theft and fraud.
5. Identify and report potential risks and areas of vulnerability.
6. Maintain accurate records of investigations and resolution.
7. Train and mentor team members on asset protection policies and procedures.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement.
9. Provide customer service excellence and serve as a point of contact for customers.
10. Analyze and evaluate asset protection data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
