Job Description

Are you a leader in loss prevention and safety? JCPenney is looking for an Asset Protection Manager to join our team. As our Asset Protection Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a secure and safe store environment for our customers and associates. You must have a passion for loss prevention and safety and be committed to delivering a superior customer experience.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of three years of experience in a retail loss prevention management role, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or a related field. You must have excellent communication, problem solving, and leadership skills, as well as a strong knowledge of basic computer applications. You must also be able to maintain a professional attitude in all interactions with customers and associates. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement loss prevention strategies in order to reduce inventory loss and protect the assets of JCPenney.
  2. Monitor store operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  3. Investigate and document all instances of theft or other security incidents.
  4. Monitor security camera footage to identify potential criminal activity.
  5. Provide regular training and guidance to store associates on loss prevention and safety topics.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of store policies and procedures.
  7. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  8. Coordinate with local law enforcement and other security personnel as needed.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all security incidents.
  10. Prepare reports and update inventory records as needed.
