
Asset Protection Manager
JCPenney is looking for an experienced and seasoned Asset Protection Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for protecting the assets of our retail stores, and have the necessary qualifications and experience to manage and oversee all aspects of our company’s asset protection program.We require that applicants for this position have at least 4 years of experience in a related role, such as Loss Prevention Management or Retail Security. Responsibilities of the Asset Protection Manager:
• Develop and execute strategies to protect JCPenney's assets • Lead and manage a team of asset protection associates • Train staff on loss prevention procedures and policies • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations • Monitor store operations to identify potential risks or threats • Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, or misuse of company resources • Work with law enforcement to pursue criminal prosecution of individuals involved in theft or fraud • Develop and implement strategies to reduce loss and maximize profits • Analyze data to identify patterns of losses and recommend strategies to address them • Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies • Monitor and review security systems and equipment • Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies
