Job Description

  1. Develop and implement strategies to minimize loss and protect company assets.
  2. Manage and lead a team of asset protection associates to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers.
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in the company's assets.
  4. Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and patterns that could impact asset protection.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and human resources, to develop and implement policies and procedures related to asset protection.
  6. Conduct investigations into incidents of theft, fraud, and other violations of company policies.
  7. Train and educate employees on proper safety and security procedures.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in asset protection technology.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to asset protection activities.
  10. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to asset protection.
  11. Foster a culture of integrity and accountability within the asset protection team.
  12. Communicate regularly with upper management to provide updates on asset protection efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
  13. Respond to and resolve any asset protection incidents or emergencies.
  14. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  15. Develop and manage a budget for the asset protection department.
  16. Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating performance of asset protection associates.
  17. Stay informed on local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to asset protection.
  18. Act as a liaison between the company and law enforcement agencies.
  19. Continuously assess and improve asset protection strategies to adapt to changing business needs.
  20. Serve as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a positive work culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, Or Security Management.

  • Strong Understanding Of Retail Operations And Inventory Management.

  • Excellent Communication, Leadership, And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Pertaining To Theft, Fraud, And Workplace Safety.
