3. Utilize surveillance equipment and security policies and procedures to prevent and detect theft and other criminal activity.
4. Conduct regular patrols of the store and respond promptly to any suspicious behavior.
5. Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and management to address any security or safety issues.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of security and loss prevention strategies.
7. Work closely with law enforcement and other external partners as needed.
8. Conduct thorough investigations of any suspected theft or other security incidents.
9. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related activities.
10. Train and educate fellow employees on security and loss prevention protocols.
11. Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies.
12. Act as a positive and professional representative of JCPenney, providing exceptional customer service to all customers.
13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
14. Report any safety or security concerns to management immediately.
15. Take proactive measures to prevent accidents and injuries within the store.
16. Handle any emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
17. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
18. Attend all required training and meetings.
19. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
