Asset Protection Associate

JCPenney is searching for a detail-oriented and reliable Asset Protection Associate to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the safekeeping of store assets, merchandise, and customers. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and patrol the store premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
2. Respond quickly and appropriately to security or emergency situations.
3. Identify potential security risks and take appropriate measures to mitigate them.
4. Investigate incidents of theft, shoplifting, and other violations of store policies.
5. Complete security reports and other paperwork as required.
6. Maintain surveillance of store entrances and exits to ensure safe customer and employee access.
7. Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
8. Provide customer service support to employees by answering questions and resolving issues.
9. Cooperate with law enforcement agencies in the investigation of theft or other criminal activity.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
