Asset Protection Associate

Responsibilities: • Monitor customer and employee activity in store to detect fraud and security risks • Greet customers and ensure a safe and secure shopping experience • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner • Investigate suspicious activity and take appropriate action • Identify and document opportunities for improvement in security protocols • Complete reports and submit them to management • Ensure adherence to all asset protection policies and procedures • Maintain a professional and cooperative working relationship with store personnel • Assist in the training and guidance of new asset protection associates • Conduct regular store walk-throughs to identify potential security risks and areas in need of improvement • Assist in the preparation of incident reports and investigations • Carry out security checks on personnel entering and exiting the store • Develop and implement strategies to reduce loss and shrinkage
