Asset Protection Associate

JCPenney is looking for a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Asset Protection Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the company’s assets and ensuring the safety and security of our customers and employees. We are looking for a candidate who is organized, detail-oriented and has a keen interest in security and safety.To be successful in this role, you must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of retail loss prevention/asset protection experience. Previous customer service experience is preferred. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

1. Work collaboratively with store personnel to ensure the safety and security of customers and employees.
2. Monitor store activities to identify potential security threats and take appropriate action.
3. Investigate instances of theft or shoplifting and submit reports to store management.
4. Develop and implement asset protection strategies to reduce losses.
5. Maintain records and reports of all security incidents.
6. Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
7. Provide excellent customer service to customers and store personnel.
8. Communicate effectively with store personnel and other stakeholders.
9. Remain knowledgeable of asset protection policies and procedures.
10. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with store personnel and other stakeholders.
