Asset Protection Associate

JCPenney is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Asset Protection Associate who is passionate about helping our customers have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities: • Monitor customers in the store to identify and prevent potential theft • Respond to shoplifter apprehensions and other security incidents • Maintain a visible presence in the store to deter theft and other suspicious activities • Coordinate with store management and other departments to ensure successful loss prevention initiatives • Investigate suspicious activities and violations of store policy • Monitor CCTV systems for any suspicious behavior • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints • Train and mentor new Asset Protection associates • Assist with investigations related to internal and external theft • Prepare reports and document all security activities
