Asset Protection Associate

JCPenney is looking for an enthusiastic Asset Protection Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be passionate about providing a positive customer experience. As an Asset Protection Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the security of the store's premises and merchandise in order to protect JCPenney’s assets.The successful candidate must have at least one year of retail experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor store premises and ensure the security of customers, store assets, and merchandise.
2. Respond to alarms and investigate any incidents of theft or attempted theft.
3. Maintain records of suspicious activity and incidents.
4. Assist in training and developing store associates on asset protection policies and procedures.
5. Assist in preparing reports for store management.
6. Assist in the enforcement of store policies and procedures to deter theft and fraud.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies.
8. Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
9. Conduct safety inspections of the store to identify potential safety risks.
10. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
11. Possess a valid driver's license.
12. Possess at least one year of retail experience.
13. Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
14. Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
15. Be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
16. Provide a positive customer experience.
