Asset Protection Associate

Responsibilities:

• Monitor JCPenney stores for suspicious activity, such as shoplifting and other theft • Greet customers and employees in a courteous and professional manner • Maintain a high level of customer service while providing a safe environment for customers and employees • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner • Develop and implement loss prevention strategies • Work with store managers to identify areas of improvement in asset protection • Investigate theft cases and assist in preparing case reports • Utilize security systems and surveillance equipment to detect and deter theft • Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures • Create and maintain records of security incidents and other activities • Maintain a neat and organized work area and ensure all equipment is in working order • Stay up to date with current trends and developments in the asset protection field
