Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the company's assets and minimizing losses through theft prevention, surveillance, and monitoring inventory.   1. Conduct regular surveillance of store premises to identify and prevent theft, vandalism, and other security threats.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and identify any discrepancies or suspicious activity.
  3. Utilize CCTV and other security systems to monitor store activity and identify potential security risks.
  4. Collaborate with store management and loss prevention team to develop and implement security protocols and procedures.
  5. Conduct regular inspections of high-risk areas and report any issues or concerns.
  6. Respond to and resolve any security incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Communicate effectively with customers and employees to promote a safe and secure shopping environment.
  8. Train and educate store staff on security procedures and theft prevention techniques.
  9. Conduct investigations into incidents of theft or fraud, gather evidence, and work with law enforcement when necessary.
  10. Maintain accurate and detailed records of security-related incidents and investigations.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and developments in security technology to continuously improve asset protection strategies.
  12. Follow company policies and procedures and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  13. Uphold a high level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and investigations.
  14. Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and IT, to ensure a comprehensive approach to asset protection.
  15. Act as a role model for ethical behavior and contribute to creating a positive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Loss Prevention: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Role Related To Asset Protection, Such As Loss Prevention, Security, Or Law Enforcement.

  • Knowledge Of Security Systems: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Security Systems, Including Cctv, Access Control, And Alarm Systems, And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Operate Them Effectively.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For An Asset Protection Associate, As They Will Be Required To Interact With Customers, Store Associates, And Law Enforcement Officials On A Regular Basis.

  • Attention To Detail: An Eye For Detail Is Crucial For An Asset Protection Associate, As They Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Investigating Potential Theft Or Fraud Incidents, And Documenting Them Accurately.
