Asset Protection Associate

1. Monitor and patrol the store premises to identify and prevent theft, fraud, and other security concerns.
2. Collaborate with store management and other Asset Protection team members to create and implement strategies for preventing and deterring theft.
3. Conduct thorough and efficient investigations into suspected theft or fraud, utilizing surveillance footage and other resources as needed.
4. Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, greeting and engaging with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
5. Utilize excellent observation skills to identify and report any suspicious behavior or activity.
6. Work closely with law enforcement and other external partners to address and resolve any security threats.
7. Stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures related to Asset Protection, and ensure compliance at all times.
8. Monitor and audit inventory levels to identify any discrepancies and potential losses.
9. Train and educate store associates on theft prevention techniques and best practices for maintaining a secure environment.
10. Act as a point of contact for customers and associates with any security concerns or incidents, and handle these situations with professionalism and discretion.
11. Collaborate with other departments, such as Loss Prevention and Human Resources, to investigate and address any internal theft or fraud.
12. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security incidents and investigations.
13. Continuously assess and improve security measures and protocols to ensure the safety of customers and associates.
14. Adhere to and enforce all safety and security procedures, including proper handling of confidential information.
15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company and its values to customers and associates.
