Principle Data Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Principle Data Engineer to join JBL's Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate is an out-of-the-box thinker and problem-solver with a passion for data engineering and a commitment to excellence. The Principle Data Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining secure data pipelines, managing data storage and governance, and developing analytics solutions. The successful candidate must possess strong technical skills and a deep understanding of distributed computing and data engineering, as well as expertise in database technologies, data warehousing and cloud-based analytics solutions.We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter and able to work independently, yet is also comfortable collaborating with team members and stakeholders. You should be able to effectively communicate complex concepts in an understandable and actionable way. The successful candidate must have a deep knowledge of data engineering best practices and experience leading the design and implementation of large-scale data engineering projects.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field• Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering• Expertise in distributed computing and database technologies• Expertise in data warehousing and cloud-based analytics solutions• Experience leading the design and implementation of large-scale data engineering projects• Strong problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Ability to communicate complex concepts in an understandable and actionable way
