Procurement Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join the Jaguar Land Rover team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for procuring goods and services that meet our business needs. You should have exceptional knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures and be able to identify cost savings opportunities.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field. You should also have at least 5 years of experience in a procurement role. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute strategies for procuring goods and services that meet business needs.
2. Research and identify cost savings opportunities.
3. Maintain knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures.
4. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
5. Track inbound and outbound deliveries.
6. Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
7. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
8. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
9. Create reports and analyze data on procurement activities.
10. Evaluate and develop new supplier relationships.
11. Work independently and as part of a team.
12. Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
13. Remain up-to-date with industry best practices.
