Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join the Jaguar Land Rover team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring that we are getting the best value for our money.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least three years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. You will also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have the ability to think strategically and analytically.If you are an organized, detail-oriented professional who is looking to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best value for products and services.
  2. Negotiate contracts to ensure the company is getting the best price for its services.
  3. Analyze market trends to identify new areas of opportunity.
  4. Monitor the procurement process and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  5. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects.
  6. Manage and report on procurement activities and performance.
  7. Make recommendations on cost-saving strategies and solutions.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  9. Adhere to government regulations and industry standards.
  10. Support the development of long-term procurement strategies.
