Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

As part of our Health and Safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards and that our workplace is safe and healthy. The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as experience in environmental health and safety management. A degree in occupational health and safety, environmental, legal, or engineering, and/or relevant certification is preferred but not required. Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to environmental health and safety in the workplace
• Monitor and assess the safety of the workplace environment, identifying any risks and taking appropriate action to reduce or eliminate them
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Train and educate employees on safety policies and procedures
• Investigate and report on accidents and incidents
• Coordinate with external agencies and organizations, such as regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance
• Maintain accurate records of safety information and reports
• Monitor safety equipment and ensure it is properly maintained and up-to-date
• Develop and present safety training programs, including emergency preparedness
• Monitor and assess safety performance and provide feedback to managers
• Assist in the development of safety-related budgets and cost estimates
