Job Description

At Jaguar Land Rover, we are looking for an experienced, safety-minded Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and protecting the health and safety of our employees, customers, and visitors, while also managing our environmental compliance requirements.We are looking for someone who is passionate about health and safety and is committed to making a positive impact on our workplace. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in safety and environmental compliance, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a world-renowned automotive brand, and to be part of a team that is dedicated to keeping our employees safe and our environment healthy.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Monitor and review environmental, health, and safety performance to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities to identify risks and hazards.
  4. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions.
  5. Maintain records of safety and environmental compliance activities.
  6. Coordinate emergency response drills and activities.
  7. Provide health and safety training to staff and visitors.
  8. Monitor and update safety equipment and supplies.
  9. Develop and implement environmental sustainability initiatives.
  10. Liaise with government authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
