Job Description

Monitor the finishing processes running in production; troubleshoot problems associated with processes and assist in resolving quality issues including Non-Conformances and CAPAs. Assist in equipment purchases and establish processes for new product lines; document product development, changes, and evaluate new product performance. Implement new and existing projects and production jobs, optimizing cost, efficiency, and quality. Debug moderately complex problems within the Finishing work cell. Implement experiments to improve processes as well as improve yields and utilization through reduced cycle time and efficient set-up, including GDP documentation.

Job Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in related chemical/finishing field.

  • Medical device manufacturing, medical industry, or related FDA-regulated industry experience required.

  • Experienced in product/process validations which includes planning and executing Engineering Studies, Process Characterization

  • Experience with Mini-Tab or similar statistical analysis software preferred

  • Demonstrates strong organizational and project management skills and has a bias toward action and results.
