- Lead the development and implementation of the organization's cybersecurity architecture strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure.
- Stay informed of emerging threats and industry best practices to ensure the organization's cybersecurity measures are up-to-date and effective.
- Communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and direction to the organization's cybersecurity team.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security solutions in a large-scale, complex environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and support for cybersecurity initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor and assess the organization's cybersecurity posture and make recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the organization's response to cybersecurity incidents and work to continuously improve incident response processes.
- Develop and maintain a budget for cybersecurity architecture initiatives.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in cybersecurity technology and identify opportunities for implementation within the organization.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and expertise in cybersecurity.
- Act as a spokesperson for the organization's cybersecurity efforts, both internally and externally.
- Represent the organization in industry forums and events related to cybersecurity.
Extensive Experience In Cybersecurity Architecture: The Sr. Director Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Cybersecurity Architecture For Large Organizations.
Strong Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: The Candidate Should Possess In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations Such As Nist, Iso, And Pci Dss, And Be Able To Apply Them In Developing Security Architecture.
Technical Proficiency: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Proficient In Various Security Technologies And Tools, Including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Vulnerability Management Tools.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Leader, The Sr. Director Should Have Excellent Leadership And Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Manage A Team, Set Goals, And Drive Results.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Sr. Director Should Be Able To Think Strategically And Provide Solutions To Complex Security Challenges. This Role Requires The Ability To Identify Potential Risks And Develop Proactive Measures To Mitigate Them.
