  1. Conduct quantitative research and analysis using market data to identify trends and patterns in the energy market.
  2. Develop quantitative models and tools to support trading strategies and risk management decisions.
  3. Collaborate with energy traders and other team members to identify and execute profitable trading opportunities.
  4. Monitor and analyze market developments and communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  5. Utilize statistical and econometric methods to assess risk and optimize trading strategies.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and continuously enhance knowledge and skills in energy markets and quantitative analysis.
  7. Work closely with technology and data teams to ensure accurate and efficient data collection and analysis.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other industry professionals to gather market intelligence and identify potential business opportunities.
  9. Contribute to the development and implementation of new trading strategies and products.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and compliance requirements.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects.
  12. Mentor and train junior team members on quantitative analysis techniques and energy market dynamics.
  13. Participate in industry conferences and events to represent the company and network with other professionals.
  14. Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues related to trading activities.
  15. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the energy trading division within the organization.
