- Conduct quantitative research and analysis on the energy market to identify trends, patterns, and potential opportunities for our energy trading business.
- Utilize advanced statistical and mathematical models to develop forecasting tools and models to support energy trading decisions.
- Collaborate with energy traders and other team members to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry news, market trends, and regulatory changes related to the energy market to inform trading strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external data providers and vendors to access relevant and reliable data for analysis.
- Use cutting-edge technology and analytical tools to analyze large and complex datasets.
- Communicate research findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other mediums.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing quantitative models and tools to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

- Act as a subject matter expert on quantitative research and energy market trends, providing guidance and support to less experienced team members.

Degree In A Quantitative Field: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Degree In A Quantitative Field Such As Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Or Statistics. This Will Ensure That They Have A Strong Foundation In Mathematical And Statistical Concepts.
Proficiency In Programming Languages: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Programming Languages Such As Python, R, And Sql. These Skills Are Essential For Analyzing Large Datasets And Building Quantitative Models.
