  1. Design, develop, and maintain mainframe systems for J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of mainframe applications.
  4. Identify and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth functioning of mainframe systems.
  5. Continuously monitor and enhance the performance and efficiency of mainframe applications.
  6. Keep up-to-date with latest technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions for mainframe systems.
  7. Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.

  9. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth coordination and collaboration.
  10. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  11. Document processes and procedures to maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
  12. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
  13. Continuously identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to optimize mainframe systems.
  14. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Experience With Mainframe Programming Languages Such As Cobol, Pl/I, And Assembler.

  • Knowledge Of Mainframe Operating Systems, Such As Ibm Z/Os.

  • Strong Understanding Of Database Management Systems, Such As Db2.

  • Familiarity With Agile Development Methodologies And Tools, Such As Jira.
