Extensive Legal Knowledge: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Commercial Banking Laws And Regulations, Particularly In The Area Of Payments Negotiations. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Payment Methods, Such As Ach, Wire Transfers, And Credit Cards, As Well As Expertise In Contract And Commercial Law.
Negotiation Skills: As A Vp In Charge Of Payments Negotiations, Strong Negotiation Skills Are Essential. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Advocate On Behalf Of The Bank And Its Clients, While Also Being Able To Find Mutually Beneficial Solutions To Complex Payment Disputes.
