Job Description

We are looking for a driven, personable Sales Lead to join the J.Jill team and drive sales and customer service in our store. The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive customer service and sales experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a passion for helping customers find the perfect product. Our Sales Lead will be an enthusiastic team player who can build relationships with customers and colleagues alike. If you have a desire to learn and grow with our team, we'd love to hear from you. Qualifications:• At least 2 years of sales/customer service experience in a retail environment• Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Familiarity with the principles of retail sales and procedures• Ability to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends)• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities: • Greet and assist customers to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience • Provide knowledgeable advice on product features and benefits • Recommend appropriate products and services to meet customers’ needs • Achieve sales and customer service targets • Create meaningful relationships with customers to encourage loyalty • Process payments and maintain accurate records of customer transactions • Organize and manage the store’s merchandise displays • Perform regular stock taking and maintenance of stock levels • Provide feedback to management on customer concerns and product requests • Train and mentor new sales staff members • Assist with resolving customer complaints in a timely and diplomatic manner • Participate in team meetings and store events
