Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Stock Associate to join our team at J.Crew. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our store is always stocked with the latest and greatest merchandise. As a Stock Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team, while also gaining valuable experience in the retail industry.   1. Maintain organization and cleanliness of stockroom and sales floor to ensure a visually appealing and efficient shopping experience for customers.
  2. Receive, process, and organize new merchandise shipments, accurately labeling and pricing items for easy identification.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any stock shortages or overstock issues to management in a timely manner.
  4. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure merchandise is restocked and displayed according to company standards and guidelines.
  5. Perform inventory audits and assist with cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels and identify any discrepancies.
  6. Assist customers with locating merchandise and provide exceptional customer service by offering fashion advice and styling suggestions.
  7. Utilize company systems and processes to document and record all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
  8. Follow safety and security protocols while handling merchandise and operating equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
  9. Maintain a thorough knowledge of current and upcoming merchandise to accurately assist customers and provide product knowledge to the sales team.
  10. Collaborate with the management team to implement and maintain visual merchandising standards on the sales floor.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to dress code, attendance, and punctuality.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and provide feedback to management on ways to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  15. Attend and actively participate in store meetings and trainings to stay current on company policies and procedures, as well as industry trends and best practices.

Job Qualifications
