- Unpack and prepare merchandise for display on sales floor.
- Organize merchandise according to company standards and guidelines.
- Ensure accurate inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized stock room.
- Communicate any stock shortages or overstocks to management.
- Assist in floor moves and restocking of merchandise on the sales floor.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with product inquiries and locating specific items for customers.
- Keep up-to-date with current fashion trends and styles to assist customers with product selections.
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling merchandise and operating equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and productivity goals.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and assist with stock-taking processes.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Continuously strive to improve productivity and efficiency in stock room operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience In Inventory Management: A Stock Associate At J.crew Should Have Knowledge And Experience In Managing Inventory, Including Receiving, Organizing, And Restocking Merchandise.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial For A Stock Associate, As They Will Be Responsible For Maintaining Accurate Inventory Records And Ensuring The Correct Placement Of Merchandise On The Sales Floor.
Physical Stamina: This Position Requires Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift And Move Boxes And Other Heavy Items, As Well As Stand For Extended Periods Of Time.
