
Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities for all retail stores in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor and maintain maintenance schedules to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
- Work closely with store managers and maintenance technicians to prioritize and assign tasks based on urgency and availability of resources.
- Develop and maintain a database of all maintenance activities, including schedules, costs, and completion dates.
- Proactively identify potential maintenance issues and develop contingency plans to minimize downtime and disruptions to store operations.
- Communicate effectively with store managers and maintenance technicians to provide updates on maintenance schedules and any changes or delays.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary equipment and materials for maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and manage maintenance budget to ensure cost-effective solutions and adherence to company guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and generate reports for management review.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures.
- Train and educate store employees on proper maintenance procedures and guidelines.
- Handle any urgent maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all team members and stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Maintenance Planning And Scheduling Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Maintenance Planning And Scheduling Processes, Including Preventive And Corrective Maintenance, Work Order Management, And Scheduling Techniques.
Experience With Cmms Software: J.crew Uses Computerized Maintenance Management System (Cmms) Software To Manage Maintenance Activities. The Candidate Should Have Experience With This Software Or Similar Programs To Effectively Plan And Schedule Maintenance Tasks.
Strong Organizational Skills: As A Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Creating And Maintaining Maintenance Schedules, Managing Work Orders, And Tracking Equipment Downtime. Strong Organizational Skills Are Essential To Effectively Manage These Tasks.
Technical Knowledge: A Solid Understanding Of Mechanical And Electrical Systems Is Necessary For The Candidate To Effectively Plan And Schedule Maintenance Tasks. This Includes Knowledge Of Equipment Troubleshooting, Repair, And Maintenance Techniques.
Communication And Teamwork: The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler Will Work Closely With Maintenance Technicians, Operations Personnel, And Other Team Members.
