- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain loss prevention policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the store.
- Collaborate with store management to identify and address any security concerns.
- Investigate and report any incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches.
- Train store employees on loss prevention techniques and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze store data to identify patterns or trends in theft or loss.
- Work closely with law enforcement and legal teams to resolve any security-related issues.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in loss prevention.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any security concerns or incidents.
- Act as a liaison between the store and corporate loss prevention teams.
- Ensure all security systems and equipment are functioning properly and report any malfunctions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Represent the company in a professional and customer-friendly manner at all times.
Experience In Loss Prevention: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In The Loss Prevention Field, Preferably In A Retail Setting. This Includes Knowledge Of Security Systems, Surveillance, And Loss Prevention Techniques.
Strong Communication Skills: A Successful Loss Prevention Representative Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Both Internal And External Stakeholders. This Includes The Ability To Write Detailed Reports And Communicate Effectively With Law Enforcement.
Detail Oriented: Attention To Detail Is Crucial In The Role Of A Loss Prevention Representative. This Includes The Ability To Identify Potential Security Risks And Investigate Incidents Thoroughly.
