  1. Monitor and patrol store premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other potential security threats.
  2. Identify and report any suspicious behavior or activities to the appropriate authorities.
  3. Utilize surveillance equipment and conduct regular inspections to detect and deter internal and external theft.
  4. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures.
  5. Conduct thorough investigations of any reported incidents and prepare detailed reports.
  6. Train and educate store employees on loss prevention procedures and best practices.
  7. Maintain accurate records of all incidents, investigations, and security-related activities.
  8. Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergency situations or alarms.
  9. Work closely with law enforcement and legal teams when necessary.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in loss prevention techniques.
  11. Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures related to safety and security.
  12. Conduct audits and perform inventory checks to identify and prevent inventory shrinkage.
  13. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure working environment for all employees.
  14. Handle any customer or employee concerns related to safety and security in a professional and timely manner.
  15. Continuously assess and improve loss prevention protocols and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques And Procedures: A Successful Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of The Principles And Methods Used In Loss Prevention, Such As Cctv Surveillance, Inventory Control, And Internal Investigations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Store Employees, And Law Enforcement Is Crucial In This Role. A Loss Prevention Representative Must Be Able To Diffuse Tense Situations And Build Relationships With Team Members.

  • Attention To Detail: Loss Prevention Representatives Are Responsible For Identifying And Documenting Potential Theft, Fraud, And Other Security Risks. This Requires A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Accurately Report Findings.

  • Physical Fitness And Stamina: This Role May Require Standing, Walking, And Physically Apprehending Suspects For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks With Ease.
