- Conduct regular patrols of the store to monitor for and prevent potential security risks.
- Utilize CCTV and other surveillance equipment to monitor and identify suspicious activities.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures.
- Investigate and document any incidents of theft or fraud.
- Assist in the apprehension and detention of suspected shoplifters.
- Educate and train store employees on loss prevention techniques and procedures.
- Conduct inventory audits and identify any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of all loss prevention activities and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement and other external agencies when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and techniques in loss prevention.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns in the store.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and secure work environment for employees and customers.
- Conduct internal investigations as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong focus on loss prevention.
- Continuously assess and improve loss prevention procedures to ensure the most effective measures are in place.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as inventory management and sales, to identify and address any potential security risks.

Experience In Retail Loss Prevention: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting.
Knowledge Of Security Systems And Procedures: A Strong Understanding Of Security Systems, Procedures, And Protocols Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Cctv Surveillance, Alarm Systems, And Inventory Control Processes.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Loss Prevention Representatives Are Often Required To Interact With Customers, Store Employees, And Law Enforcement, So Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are A Must.
