- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the store and employees.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of store premises to identify potential security risks and address any issues.
- Train and educate store staff on loss prevention protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze store data to identify patterns and trends in inventory shrinkage and theft.
- Work closely with store management to investigate any incidents of theft, fraud or other security breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to resolve any criminal activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all security incidents and prepare reports for management.
- Conduct thorough investigations of any suspected internal theft or fraud.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
- Assist with the implementation of new security technologies and systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in loss prevention.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to loss prevention.
- Act as a liaison between the store and corporate headquarters regarding any security-related issues.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide support as needed.
- Foster a positive and safe environment for employees and customers.
Experience In Loss Prevention: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Environment.
Knowledge Of Security Systems: Familiarity With Security Systems And Procedures, Including Cctv, Alarm Systems, And Access Control, Is Essential For This Role.
Strong Analytical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Identify And Investigate Potential Loss Or Theft Incidents And Develop Effective Strategies To Prevent Future Occurrences.
