Job Description

As a Loss Prevention Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and protection of our stores and employees.   1. Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the store and employees.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections of store premises to identify potential security risks and address any issues.
  3. Train and educate store staff on loss prevention protocols and procedures.
  4. Monitor and analyze store data to identify patterns and trends in inventory shrinkage and theft.
  5. Work closely with store management to investigate any incidents of theft, fraud or other security breaches.
  6. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to resolve any criminal activities.
  7. Maintain accurate records of all security incidents and prepare reports for management.
  8. Conduct thorough investigations of any suspected internal theft or fraud.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
  10. Assist with the implementation of new security technologies and systems.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in loss prevention.
  12. Communicate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to loss prevention.
  13. Act as a liaison between the store and corporate headquarters regarding any security-related issues.
  14. Respond to emergency situations and provide support as needed.
  15. Foster a positive and safe environment for employees and customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Loss Prevention: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Security Systems: Familiarity With Security Systems And Procedures, Including Cctv, Alarm Systems, And Access Control, Is Essential For This Role.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Identify And Investigate Potential Loss Or Theft Incidents And Develop Effective Strategies To Prevent Future Occurrences.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial For A Loss Prevention Coordinator, As They Will Be Responsible For Monitoring And Identifying Potential Security Risks And Ensuring The Accuracy Of Reports And Documentation.
