Job Description

We are currently seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Specialist to join our team and ensure that our stores and offices are always in top shape for our customers and employees. As a J.Crew Facilities & Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our brand's standards by overseeing the upkeep of our physical spaces. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and takes pride in their work. If you have a passion for facilities management and a knack for problem-solving, we would love to hear from you.

  1. Conduct regular inspections of all store and office locations to identify any maintenance needs or safety issues.
  2. Create and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for all facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other equipment.
  3. Respond promptly to all maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently to minimize any disruptions to daily operations.
  4. Coordinate and oversee any repairs or renovations, ensuring that they are completed within budget and on schedule.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, invoices, and inventory of supplies.
  6. Collaborate with store managers and other team members to address any facilities-related concerns and provide solutions.
  7. Monitor and track expenses related to maintenance and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  8. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies in regards to facilities and maintenance.
  9. Train and supervise maintenance staff, including providing guidance and support when needed.
  10. Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies to enhance facility maintenance processes.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and maintenance equipment.
  12. Act as a liaison with external contractors and vendors, negotiating contracts and managing relationships.
  13. Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  14. Communicate with upper management regarding any major maintenance issues or concerns.
  15. Uphold J.Crew's brand standards by ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and visually appealing for customers and employees.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Facilities And Maintenance Management In A Retail Or Commercial Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Building Codes, Safety Regulations, And Maintenance Best Practices.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Maintenance Issues.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Team Members And External Vendors.
