As a member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our spaces are safe, functional, and well-maintained for our employees and customers.   1. Responsible for conducting routine maintenance and repairs for all J.Crew stores and offices.
  2. Perform regular inspections and identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
  3. Respond to maintenance requests and address issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Maintain a safe and clean working environment for employees and customers.
  5. Oversee and coordinate with outside vendors for larger maintenance projects.
  6. Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes.
  7. Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure the longevity of equipment and facilities.
  8. Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.
  9. Communicate effectively with store and office managers to coordinate maintenance schedules and address any concerns.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies in the facilities and maintenance field.
  11. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to improve overall operational efficiency.
  13. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses.
  14. Proactively identify areas for cost-saving opportunities in facilities management.
  15. Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Building Maintenance: Candidates Should Have At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Building Maintenance, Including Knowledge Of Electrical, Plumbing, And Hvac Systems.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Identify And Troubleshoot Maintenance Issues In A Timely Manner, And Come Up With Effective Solutions.
