In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our facilities are well-maintained and functioning at their best.   1. Conduct regular inspections of company facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
  2. Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure facilities are kept in optimal condition.
  3. Coordinate and oversee any necessary repairs, maintenance, or upgrades to facilities.
  4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including costs and timelines.
  5. Respond promptly to any facility emergencies and coordinate appropriate solutions.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure facilities meet their specific needs and requirements.
  7. Maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors for facility maintenance services.
  8. Monitor and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  9. Train and supervise other team members in proper facility maintenance procedures.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to facility maintenance.
  11. Conduct research and make recommendations for new equipment or systems to improve facility functionality.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with team members, vendors, and contractors.
  13. Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations related to facility maintenance.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  15. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any facility-related issues or updates.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Building Maintenance And Repair: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Facilities And Maintenance Work, Preferably In A Retail Or Commercial Setting. This Includes Knowledge Of Hvac Systems, Plumbing, Electrical, And General Building Repairs.

  • Knowledge Of Safety And Compliance Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Compliance Regulations Related To Building Maintenance And Facilities Management. This Includes Osha Standards And Fire Code Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills: Facilities And Maintenance Specialists At J.crew Will Be Responsible For Addressing And Resolving A Variety Of Issues, So Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Vendors, And Management.

  • Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks: The Role Of A Facilities And Maintenance Specialist At J.crew Is Fast-Paced And Requires The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. Candidates Should Have Excellent Time-Management Skills And The Ability To Work Efficiently Under Pressure.
