Job Description

J.Crew is looking for a highly motivated District Manager to oversee our J.Crew Factory locations. As the District Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our brand. We are seeking a results-driven individual with excellent communication and organizational skills to join our team.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales and achieve business objectives for the J.Crew Factory locations within the district.
  2. Train, coach, and mentor store managers and their teams to ensure consistent and exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and brand representation.
  3. Monitor and analyze sales and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address them.
  4. Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
  5. Manage and allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and profitability of each store within the district.
  6. Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and execution of company initiatives.
  7. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting a culture of teamwork, respect, and accountability.
  8. Identify and develop top talent within the district to support succession planning and career growth opportunities.
  9. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to make informed business decisions.
  10. Represent the J.Crew brand and uphold its values and standards at all times.
  11. Manage budgets and expenses within the district to meet financial targets.
  12. Handle escalated customer issues and provide timely resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.
  13. Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, as well as handle employee relations issues as they arise.
  14. Prepare and present reports to senior management on district performance, strategies, and recommendations.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve district operations, processes, and procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Retail Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Retail Management, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.

  • Proven Track Record Of Driving Sales And Achieving Financial Targets.

  • Strong Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Inventory Management, Visual Merchandising, And Customer Service.
