  1. Oversee and manage the entire product development process, from concept to delivery, ensuring that products are produced on time and within budget.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to enhance product development processes and increase efficiency.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, merchandising, and sourcing, to ensure alignment and communication throughout the product development lifecycle.
  4. Monitor and manage product development timelines and budgets, making adjustments as needed to meet company goals.
  5. Lead and mentor a team of product development professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  6. Conduct regular product reviews to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues that arise.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market demands to inform product development strategies and decisions.
  8. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and quality standards.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve product development processes to drive innovation and efficiency.
  11. Communicate regularly with upper management on product development progress, challenges, and successes.
  12. Ensure all products meet regulatory and safety standards.
  13. Manage and allocate resources effectively to support product development priorities.
  14. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  15. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote J.Crew's brand and products.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Product Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Product Operations, Preferably In The Retail Or Fashion Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Product Development Process, Supply Chain Management, And Inventory Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Director, Product Operations Will Need To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Design, Merchandising, And Production, To Ensure A Smooth Product Development Process.
