Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Coordinator - Merchandising at J.Crew. This role requires a passion for the retail industry, an eye for fashion trends, and the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Retail Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field • At least 1-2 years of experience in Merchandising or a related field • Proven success in developing and implementing merchandising strategies • Sound business acumen and understanding of the retail industry • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and retail-specific software

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales, improve product performance, and ensure customer satisfaction • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement • Manage inventory levels to maximize sales and profitability • Negotiate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and competitive pricing • Develop promotional plans to increase product visibility and attract customers • Monitor trends in the retail industry and adjust strategies accordingly • Work closely with retail teams to ensure customer needs are met • Create and maintain detailed reports on sales, product performance, and other metrics • Maintain up-to-date records of orders, invoices, and other relevant documents • Provide training and support to other staff members on merchandising strategies and techniques
