1. Lead and manage a team of retail associates, providing guidance and support in achieving sales goals and delivering exceptional customer service.
2. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase customer engagement, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
3. Monitor and analyze sales data, identify trends and opportunities, and adjust store operations accordingly.
4. Train and onboard new employees, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to represent the J.Crew brand.
5. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning.
6. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure cohesive and consistent brand messaging and execution.
7. Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring the store is visually appealing and showcases the latest collections.
8. Ensure inventory accuracy and manage stock levels to meet customer demand.
9. Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform business decisions.
11. Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies to promote the brand and drive traffic to the store.
12. Collaborate with the corporate team to provide feedback on product assortment, pricing, and customer feedback.
13. Uphold company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, loss prevention, safety, and employee conduct.
14. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
15. Act as a brand ambassador, representing J.Crew both in-store and within the local community.
