  1. Oversee daily operations: The Associate Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  2. Lead and develop team members: This role will involve training, coaching, and motivating team members to provide excellent customer service and meet sales goals. The Associate Manager should also be able to identify and develop talent within the team.
  3. Maintain visual standards: The Associate Manager will be in charge of maintaining the visual merchandising standards of the store, ensuring that all products are displayed in an attractive and organized manner.
  4. Monitor inventory levels: The Associate Manager will work closely with the Inventory Manager to monitor stock levels and make necessary adjustments to meet customer demand.
  5. Achieve sales targets: The Associate Manager will play a key role in driving sales and meeting targets, through effective coaching and motivation of team members, as well as ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered.
  6. Ensure exceptional customer service: As a customer-facing role, the Associate Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all customers receive a positive and memorable shopping experience.
  7. Stay updated on fashion trends: It is important for the Associate Manager to have a strong passion for fashion and stay updated on current trends, in order to provide customers with the latest styles and make informed buying decisions.
  8. Assist with administrative tasks: This may include scheduling, payroll, and other administrative tasks as needed to support the store's operations.
  9. Collaborate with other departments: The Associate Manager will work closely with other departments such as buying, marketing, and operations to ensure a cohesive and successful retail strategy.
  10. Uphold company values: The Associate Manager should embody the values of J.Crew and serve as a role model for the team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Retail Management, Preferably In The Fashion Industry.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Proven Track Record Of Managing And Developing A Team.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Customers And Employees.

  • Knowledge Of Sales Strategies And Ability To Analyze Sales Data To Drive Business Growth.
