
Assistant Designer - Mens Structured Wovens

As an Assistant Designer, you will work closely with our design team to develop and execute innovative and on-trend collections. - Collaborate with the design team to develop and execute innovative and on-trend menswear collections.
- Assist in creating sketches, technical drawings, and tech packs for new designs.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and styles in menswear.
- Help to maintain and organize design materials, including fabrics, trims, and samples.
- Attend fittings and assist in making necessary changes and adjustments to designs.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are produced according to specifications.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and maintain relationships.
- Assist in creating and maintaining seasonal line sheets and presentations.
- Participate in design meetings and provide creative input and ideas.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising and marketing, to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
- Adhere to timelines and meet deadlines for design projects.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a budget for materials and resources.
- Continuously strive to improve and develop skills and knowledge in menswear design.
- Support the overall goals and vision of the company and contribute to its success in the fashion industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Fashion Design Or Related Field
Minimum 2 Years Experience In Menswear Design, Preferably In Structured Wovens
Proficient In Adobe Creative Suite And Other Design Software
Strong Understanding Of Garment Construction And Patternmaking
