- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's robotic systems and their vision system components.
- Design, develop, and test advanced vision systems for use in minimally invasive surgery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies and techniques to improve the performance and capabilities of the vision systems.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential design issues and propose innovative solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the vision systems.
- Lead and participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and technical discussions to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the vision systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in computer vision and imaging technologies to continuously improve the company's products.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers in the team.
- Work closely with the Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop plans to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure successful integration of the vision systems into the production process.
- Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support as needed.

Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Design And Development Of Vision Systems, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.
Expertise In Image Processing, Computer Vision Algorithms, And Machine Learning Techniques.
Proficient In Programming Languages Such As C++, Python, And Matlab.
Strong Understanding Of Surgical Procedures And Experience With Surgical Navigation And Robotics Is A Plus.
