- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular audits of supplier processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Analyze supplier performance data and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and track progress.
- Lead supplier selection and qualification processes to ensure high-quality and reliable suppliers.
- Act as a subject matter expert on supplier manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Provide technical support to suppliers to resolve any manufacturing or quality issues.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on supplier management and manufacturing best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations in the manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of supply chain processes.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, such as supply shortages or quality issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supplier performance and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In A Manufacturing Engineering Role, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Manufacturing Processes, Including Assembly, Machining, And Injection Molding.
Experience With Supplier Management And Development, Including Conducting Audits And Implementing Corrective Actions.
Excellent Project Management Skills, With A Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Projects On Time And Within Budget.
