Responsibilities:

1. Oversee supplier management processes and develop strategies to improve quality, reduce costs, and ensure on-time delivery of components and products.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
3. Monitor supplier performance and evaluate supplier quality systems.
4. Lead design control activities and coordinate design changes with suppliers.
5. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are met.
6. Manage non-conformance issues with suppliers and coordinate corrective and preventative actions.
7. Develop and maintain supplier metrics and reports.
8. Participate in risk management activities, such as FMEAs and Hazard Analysis.
9. Prepare and present reports to management on supplier performance and project progress.
10. Provide technical expertise and guidance to suppliers and other team members.
