Intuitive Surgical is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our Endoluminal BU PMO team. As a leader in the medical device industry, we are dedicated to transforming the landscape of minimally invasive surgery through innovative technology.   1. Lead and oversee key projects within the Endoluminal Business Unit, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  2. Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling to ensure project goals and objectives are met within budget and timeline.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  4. Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.
  5. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
  6. Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address any issues or risks that may impact project success.
  7. Communicate project status updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management.
  8. Implement and enforce project management best practices and standards.
  9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing solutions.
  10. Mentor and develop junior project management team members.
  11. Monitor industry trends and developments to identify potential opportunities for our product portfolio.
  12. Represent the company and the Endoluminal Business Unit in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  13. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Project Management Experience: A Senior Project Manager At Intuitive Surgical Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Complex Projects On Time And Within Budget.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Project Manager Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills. They Should Be Able To Motivate And Guide The Project Team Towards The Successful Completion Of Projects.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Medical Devices: The Senior Project Manager Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Devices, Particularly In The Field Of Endoluminal Procedures. This Includes Knowledge Of The Regulatory Landscape, Industry Trends, And Competitive Landscape.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management: Effective Communication Is Crucial In A Project Management Role, Especially In A Cross-Functional Team Environment. The Senior Project Manager Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Concisely With All Stakeholders, Including Team Members, Management, And External Partners.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Project Manager Should Have Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Address Potential Risks And Issues That May Arise During The Project Lifecycle. They Should Also Be Able To Make Data-Driven Decisions To Drive Project Success.
