- Develop and execute hardware test plans and protocols for new and existing robotic surgical systems.
- Conduct thorough testing of hardware components and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces, to ensure safety, quality, and reliability.
- Analyze and interpret test results, identify potential issues, and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Utilize various testing tools and equipment to perform functional, performance, and stress testing.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to provide input on design for testability and participate in design reviews.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in hardware testing methodologies and technologies.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the hardware testing team.
- Continuously improve and optimize testing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate updates, progress, and issues to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards in the healthcare industry.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and provide technical expertise and insights.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Hardware Testing, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.
Proficiency In Test Automation Tools And Software, Such As Labview Or Python.
Strong Knowledge Of Hardware Design And Troubleshooting.
Experience With Regulatory Requirements And Standards For Medical Devices, Such As Iso 13485 And Fda Regulations.
