  1. Design and implement core components of surgical robotic systems using FPGA technology.

  4. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in FPGA technology.

  6. Perform thorough testing and debugging of FPGA designs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  7. Develop and maintain design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience With Fpga Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Designing And Implementing Complex Fpga Designs, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Fpga Architecture And Be Proficient In Using Hardware Description Languages Such As Verilog And Vhdl.

  • Knowledge Of Surgical Systems And Medical Device Regulations: Intuitive Surgical Is A Leading Manufacturer Of Surgical Robots, And The Senior Fpga Engineer Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Company's Products And Their Application In The Medical Field. They Should Also Be Familiar With Medical Device Regulations Such As Fda Guidelines And Iso Standards.

  • Expertise In Digital Signal Processing (Dsp): As A Senior Fpga Engineer, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Dsp Techniques And Algorithms. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Efficient Dsp Solutions On Fpgas To Meet The Performance Requirements Of Intuitive Surgical's Surgical Systems.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: The Senior Fpga Engineer Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Engineers And Managing Complex Fpga Design Projects. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Deliver High-Quality Designs Within Tight Timelines.

  • Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Abilities: Intuitive Surgical's Surgical Systems Are Highly Complex, And The Senior Fpga Engineer Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Solving Complex Problems And Debugging Issues In Fpga Designs.
