Job Description

Intuitive Surgical is looking for a Senior Biostatistician to join our team. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and a strong understanding of biostatistics to ensure that our research efforts are supported with the highest quality of data analysis. We're looking for an individual who is passionate about using data to drive meaningful insights and has an eye for detail.The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in biostatistics, mathematics, or a related field, with at least five years of experience. They should also have a strong understanding of data management and analysis techniques, including working knowledge of SAS and R programming languages. The Senior Biostatistician should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information to a wide range of stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong track record of delivering results and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize expertise in biostatistics and data analysis to provide support for research efforts.
  2. Develop and implement data management and analysis processes and techniques.
  3. Create and interpret reports and datasets to inform data-driven insights.
  4. Maintain data accuracy and integrity.
  5. Utilize SAS and R programming languages in data analysis.
  6. Communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
  7. Work with other departments to develop and implement strategies and objectives.
  8. Monitor progress and deliver results in a timely manner.
  9. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
  10. Review and analyze data to identify trends and potential areas of improvement.
