  1. Develop and maintain reprocessing instructions for all Intuitive Surgical surgical instruments and equipment.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  3. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry developments related to reprocessing techniques and standards.
  4. Train and educate team members on proper reprocessing procedures and protocols.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of reprocessing procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to reprocessing, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  7. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  8. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to reprocessing procedures.
  9. Participate in the design and development of new surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring reprocessing considerations are taken into account.
  10. Stay informed about product updates and changes, and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders.
  11. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the safe and effective reprocessing of their products.
  12. Continuously review and update reprocessing protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on reprocessing procedures and provide support and guidance to other team members.
  14. Participate in audits and inspections related to reprocessing procedures.
  15. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives related to reprocessing.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Medical Device Design And Development Or Reprocessing/Validation Experience

  • Strong Knowledge Of Fda And International Regulations Related To Medical Device Reprocessing And Sterilization

  • Proficiency In Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software, Such As Solidworks Or Autocad

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.
